Set Active Point Command

The Set Active Point command sets the location used as the starting point for distance and bearing calculations.

To set a waypoint as the Active Point, do the following:

  1. Select a waypoint.
  2. Then, do one of the following:
    • On the Tools menu, click Set Active Point.
    • Right-click on the selected item, and click Set Active Point.

To set the Active Point on a blank portion of the map, do the following:

  1. If there are items already selected, press Esc to cancel the selection.
  2. Right-click on a portion of the map that does not contain any items, and click Set Active Point.
